Floating waste collection boat launched in Bath

A new floating refuse collection has been started by the Canal and River Trust on the Kennet and Avon canal in Bath.

The trust says it has to deal with the equivalent of two large construction skips of fly-tipping a week.

The new boating service allows boat-dwellers to dispose of larger items which are often hard to get rid of.
