The event was cancelled in November due to concerns over the "unpredictable direction and speed of the wind"
An event which was cancelled due to Storm Ciarán is set to go ahead later.
The Fireworks at Sea event in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, was due to take place in November but was cancelled due to the "unpredictable direction and speed of the wind".
However, the annual event will go ahead at the Grand Pier at about 19:00 GMT.
Pier director Michelle Michael said: "You can turn up and park on the beach lawns for a small fee and pick your spot and watch the fireworks."
Others who wish to explore and watch from the pier can purchase tiered tickets, ranging from ones which offer food and access to rides to others which include a sit down meal.
On cancelling the 2023 event, Ms Michael said: "Unfortunately last November the weather was against us and the wind would have blown the fireworks directly onto the prom so anybody watching from there was at risk.
"Once they told us that we absolutely had to cancel it. It was unfortunate but health and safety prevails," she added.
Ms Michael said more than 1000 tickets had been sold for the rescheduled event.
