Sheffield Ski Village fires 'not deliberate'

  • Published

A series of fires which badly damaged an outdoor ski village in Sheffield is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The main building at the Ski Village was destroyed on 29 April.

A second fire on 1 May damaged the ski lift and a third blaze on 21 May caused further damage.

South Yorkshire Police said investigations had shown the fires, initially thought to be deliberate, were not being treated as suspicious.
