Comedian Jo Brand is to stage a one-off performance to raise funds for a children's hospice she supports in Stoke-on-Trent.
Brand will perform at Victoria Hall, Hanley, on 14 March, with all proceeds going to the Donna Louise Children's Hospice.
The comedian is a long-time supporter of the charity which cares for children at Treetops hospice in Trentham.
Two previous shows by Brand for the charity raised nearly £40,000.
Donna Louise Children's Hospice supports nearly 200 children and their families in Staffordshire and south Cheshire.
'Special place'
Brand said she had visited the hospice and seen the "amazing work" it does and the support it offered to families.
"I am proud to support the hospice and do anything I can to help the children and their families," she said.
"It is a very special place and relies on donations and fundraising, so I am delighted to be able to help in any way I can."
The writer of Bafta award-winning series Getting On is to hold the event to help the hospice reach the £2.4m it needs to cover its annual running costs.
The show, which starts at 19:30 GMT, is suitable for over 16s only. Tickets of £21 are available from Kate Burgess-Lowe at the charity or from Victoria Hall.
