The Black Keys have been announced as the third headliner at this year's Latitude Festival in Suffolk.

The duo, from Akron, Ohio, will top the bill along with Damon Albarn and Two Door Cinema Club when the festival returns on 17-20 July.

Mogwai, Lykke Li, Kelis, Crystal Fighters and Dara O'Briain have also been announced.

It is the ninth year the festival is taking place at Henham Park, near Southwold.

Festival director Melvin Benn said he was "overwhelmed" to have The Black Keys on the bill.

"This is a huge act," he said. "It may well be the biggest act we've ever booked at Latitude.

"The Black Keys have won seven Grammy awards - the album El Camino was platinum everywhere in the world."

BBC 6 Music will again lend its name to the second stage of Latitude - with Parquet Courts, George Ezra and Conor Oberst on the line-up.

Tom Vek and John Wizards will play the i Arena, while Jon Ronson, Lauren Beukes and Patrick Barkham will appear in the literature tent.

Sadler's Wells will return to the festival, along with the National Youth Dance Company and the English National Ballet.
