A singer-songwriter has thanked fans after narrowly missing out on winning TV singing show The Voice Australia.
Charlie Pittman, 25, from Holbrook, Suffolk, who reached the final four, thanked supporters for their votes.
Four alternative endings were pre-filmed in June, so Pittman only discovered the outcome when it aired on Sunday.
In an Instagram story, he wrote: "Thank you to everyone who voted for me."
He continued: "You guys are the best in the world and I'm so, so grateful."
Pittman also congratulated the winner, mother-of-two Tarryn Stokes, 40, calling her "an absolute superstar".
During the final, Pittman sang his take of When You're Gone by Shawn Mendes, and duetted with his mentor Guy Sebastian for their version of Torn by Natalie Imbruglia.
The singer auditioned for the show after the death of his Australian father.
He now plans to stay in Australia to continue his music career.
