Watch as abnormal load on 224 wheels crosses Suffolk

A turbine weighing about 330 tonnes has continued its slow and careful journey towards the site of a new power station.

The abnormal load is 11m (36ft) long, was transported on a special trailer with 224 wheels and even needed a temporary bridge to be constructed.

It left Claydon in Suffolk at about 06:30 GMT and moved towards Eye Airfield at a top speed of about 20mph (32km/h), having completed the first part of its trip last weekend.

Pictures showed people gathering on overpasses to catch a glimpse as it snaked along closed roads.
