Work on the new £22m hospital extension will take about a year

An artist's impression of a Surrey hospital's new £22m emergency department has been released by a health trust.

Building work is set to begin at Frimley Park Hospital on the A&E unit, day surgery unit and helipad.

Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said construction work would take up to 12 months.

The main entrance for patients and visitors will not change.
