The roads around Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, filled with classic Minis as enthusiasts arrived for its annual Mini Day.

More than 1,000 Minis, including classic models like the Mini Cooper, Traveller and Clubman were expected from clubs across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.

A collection of Mini Mokes is on display in the paddock to celebrate the model's 50th anniversary.

Drivers are able to take their vehicles up the test hill at the site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, built in 1907.

Exhibitors compete for a series of prizes, including Best in Show, People's Choice, Best Customised Mini and Best Original Mini.

The cars are displayed in the shadow of Brooklands Museum's collection of aircraft, including Concorde G-BBDG.
