A supermarket has reopened almost three weeks after it was closed due to flooding.

The car park of the Tesco superstore on Shripney Road in Bognor Regis was transformed into a lake during downpours last month.

No vehicles will be permitted to access the site as the car park is still flooded. The petrol station and the car wash will also remain closed.

But the store opened at 06:00 GMT for walk-in customers.

A spokesperson for Tesco said: "We are working to have the car park open again as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience."
