A Teesside council has revealed plans for a £20m revamp of its town centre to attract more shoppers and businesses.

Stockton Council has produced a 30-page prospectus detailing its five-year plan to boost the town.

The plan includes building a new plaza to give views of the town's Infinity bridge and introducing short-stay parking near to the High Street.

Stockton Council said the prospectus was aimed at "selling" the town to potential developers and businesses.
