Middlesbrough attack: Second man charged after police officer injured

A second man has been charged over an incident in which a police officer was seriously injured and others were hurt.
Cleveland Police officers were attacked while responding to a fire in Earls Court Road, in Hemlington, Middlesbrough, at 02:40 GMT on Sunday.
One officer suffered serious hand and facial injuries and a police vehicle was damaged.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with assault and affray and was due before Teesside Magistrates' Court.
A 36-year-old man appeared in the same court on Wednesday charged with wounding with intent to resist arrest and affray.
Three men and two women who were arrested in connection with the incident remain on bail, police said.
