Horden TSB robbery: CCTV of crowbar-wielding raiders released

CCTV footage of crowbar-wielding raiders robbing a bank has been released by police.

A manhunt is continuing for three masked men who targeted the TSB on Blackhills Road in Horden, County Durham, on Wednesday.

The footage shows them entering the building at about 10:45 BST before running out carrying bags filled with cash.

Two female staff members were injured, as were two members of the public.

Inspector Steve Thubron, of Durham Police, said hundreds of hours of footage is being analysed.

A burnt-out car which officers say is thought to be linked to the robbery was found in the Cotsford Park Estate area about 1km (0.6 miles) away from the bank.

Special response teams and a police helicopter were deployed in the search for the robbers
