Wiltshire leisure centres could be handed to public

Leisure centres in seven towns in Wiltshire could be transferred to the community to run, according to council plans.
Wiltshire Council approved the transfer of centres in Corsham, Downton, Pewsey, Bradford-on-Avon, Tisbury, Westbury and Wootton Bassett earlier.
Councillor Stuart Wheeler said the authority did not know where its funding would come from.
A number of centres had been earmarked for closure.
Mr Wheeler told the BBC: "The big problem as we all know at the moment is we don't know where our funding is coming from as a local authority. Everything's up in the air.
"To some extent, passing these things over to people and they come up with ambitious plans, they come out from under the 'big government' thing."
