Woman, 81, dies after Malmesbury car crash

The crash happened on the A429 in Malmesbury
An 81-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car.
The woman was struck while crossing the road at Blicks Hill junction on the A429 in Malmesbury at about 10:15 GMT on Tuesday.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries and died during the night, police said. Her next of kin have been informed.
Wiltshire Police said its thoughts are with the family and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
