Three people arrested following a fatal crash involving a police pursuit have been released.

A teenage boy died when a Vauxhall Astra collided with the Commonhead roundabout in Swindon, near Junction 15 of the M4 on Tuesday night.

A man and two women, all in their 20s and occupants of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries and were arrested.

One lane of the M4 exit slip road and one lane of the A419 towards Junction 15 have now reopened.

A lane remains closed around the roundabout for barrier repairs.

The man, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released on bail.

The two women were arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent and have been released under investigation.

Wiltshire Police said the teenager died at the scene "as a result of the injuries he sustained".

Formal identification is yet to take place.
