Police patrols in Trowbridge as stranger approaches children

Police patrols will be increased this weekend
Police are investigating after three incidents of a man approaching children near secondary schools were reported.
The incidents all happened in the Trowbridge area over the last two weeks.
One student was told by a man that her mum had asked him to collect her from school, Wiltshire Police said.
Sgt Charlotte Chilton, from Wiltshire Police, said: "We recognise the concerns that this will have caused in the local community."
Officers are looking into whether the incidents are linked and putting on extra patrols before and after school.
Anyone approached is being urged to call the police immediately.
"It would be really helpful if we could be told as much information as possible, including the car make, model, colour and registration plate" Sgt Chilton added.
She explained that the extra patrols are to "offer some reassurance". The force is also working with the schools.
