Belfast hosts BBC Proms in the Park

About 8,000 music lovers have attended the BBC Proms in the Park event at the Titanic Slipways in Belfast.
Topping the bill was Welsh soprano, Katherine Jenkins.
The line-up included Londonderry singer/songwriter Phil Coulter, classical accordion player Martynas and the Ulster Orchestra.
Ticket holders also got a preview of Heartbeat of Home, a new show from the makers of Riverdance.
The "music and dance spectacular" which fuses Irish, Latin and Afro-Cuban music, is due to open next month in Dublin.
The Belfast event on Saturday night was one of five to be held across the UK, marking the Last Night of the Proms.
'Prestigious'
This was the 12th year that Proms in the Park took place in Northern Ireland and again the free tickets were all snapped up well in advance.

Belfast lord mayor Maírtín Ó Muilleoir said: "Due to its location on the slipways, the proms provides us with the specific opportunity to display the city's Titanic connections and hopefully encourage more visitors to come, but it also allows us to show the rich musical heritage of the city."
The concert was hosted by BBC Northern Ireland presenters Noel Thompson and Claire McCollum and it was broadcast live locally and nationally on a variety of BBC platforms.
BBC Northern Ireland director Peter Johnston said the event, set against the "stunning backdrop of the Titanic Belfast building" was one of the most prestigious and large-scale events that the corporation undertakes each year.
Highlights from the concert will be broadcast on BBC Northern Ireland later this year.
