Women in unions and TUC's new leader Frances O'Grady
The stereotypical image of a union leader is a burly bloke with a megaphone but from January, the TUC will be led by a woman for the first time when Frances O'Grady takes the top job.
David Thompson spoke to University and College Union general secretary Sally Hunt and Polly Toynbee of The Guardian about whether one woman at the top can reverse years of male domination.
