Obesity: Weighing MPs Conor Burns and Michael Gapes
MPs have been weighed on live TV to highlight the campaign against obesity and to encourage people to look at their diet and take up exercise.
Conservative MP Conor Burns claimed the UK was the fattest country in Europe, with one in four adults classed as obese - and Labour's Michael Gapes said he did not eat at regular times, but was cutting out alcohol for a month,
MPs are rumoured to gain one stone in weight - known as "parliamentary stone" - in their first term at Parliament, due to changes in diet and working hours.
Susana Mendonca spoke to the pair and Graham Rowan from Obesity Management Association.
