Affordable homes and mortgages: Michael Fallon and Sadiq Khan
The government has plans for 175,000 affordable homes in the current Parliament and was "unlocking some of the rules" that had stopped them being built, says Business Minister Michael Fallon.
Shadow justice secretary Sadiq Khan said there were not enough homes with affordable rents in London, and there were too few homes.
They were debating the Daily Politics film from journalist Ross Clark on house prices and calling for restriction on the sale of starter homes.
