Leveson and royal charter: Lord Fowler and John Hemming
Politicians' hands should be kept off the regulatory code for newspapers, said the Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming.
Conservative peer Lord Fowler spoke against the plan for a royal charter saying he wanted to see the Leveson Report "in its entirety", and claimed there had been a "frankly hysterical reaction" to the report into press regulation.
