Quotas for women: Alice Arnold, Emily Thornberry and Jo Swinson

Calls for temporary quotas for women on TV and in the media - as well as politics - were debated by Alice Arnold with Labour's Emily Thornberry and Liberal Democrat Jo Swinson.

They watched a Daily Politics film from the former BBC Radio Four announcer and newsreader who looked at how women were struggling to make it on-air. Alice said the "small steps" taken so far were not enough.
