Huw Edwards explains the expected timings for the results of a series of elections in parts of England and Wales. There will be some declarations overnight but the bulk of the counts take places on Friday.

He will be hosting Vote 2013 running from 08:30 to 18:00 GMT on the BBC News Channel, and a series of hour-long programmes on BBC Two in England and Wales on Friday afternoon.

Andrew Neil ran through the details of where elections are taking place on Thursday.
