Disability payments: Eustice. McGovern and Burt
There was "alarmist talk" over government changes to payments for disabled people, claimed Tory MP George Eustice, who said that "people fear change".
He said it was the "right thing to do... to target to support where it was most needed" and some people would receive more money.
Liberal Democrat MP Lorely Burt claimed there had been "a number of scare stories".
But Labour MP Alison McGovern said there was a "cumulative impact" which made it hard for recipients and their carers to work out the changes, and she criticised the work of Atos, a private firm working for the government.
