Thousands of people receive emails, at either end of the day, from journalists competing to produce the best-read round-ups on Westminster life.

Adam Fleming spoke to the Daily Telegraph's Benedict Brogan and to the Spectator's Isabel Hardman about how they they are put together.

They spoke about the competition to be the most influential, and how some Westminster wonks want to help get their spin in to the daily messages.
