MPs following parents into House of Commons
Having a politician for a parent has not scared some off Westminster for life as 20 MPs have fathers who were also in the House of Commons.
And Jack Straw, who announced last week he would be standing down at the next election, could be the next father to hand the political baton to his son.
Eleanor Garnier spoke to Conservative MP Laura Sandys, plus Labour peer Lord Hoyle and his son, deputy Speaker Lindsay Hoyle.
Mr Straw is a guest on Tuesday's Daily Politics, from 12:00 to 13:00 GMT on BBC2, repeated at midnight on BBC Parliament or on iPlayer for seven days.
