Political books: Keith Simpson MP's recommended reading

An MP has published his latest book recommendations for colleagues to read during the Christmas holidays.

Keith Simpson said Charles Moore's biography of the late Baroness Thatcher was "outstandingly good and a great revelation", and Tory colleagues "gulped when they read it".

The parliamentary private secretary to William Hague, who is also a political book reviewer for Total Politics magazine, talked about his list with MPs Lisa Nandy, Lynne Featherstone and Harriet Baldwin.
