Lord Rennard 'is no Jimmy Savile' says Chris Davies MEP

Lord Rennard is in a "horrible space", due to the media pressure, but "he is not Jimmy Savile", said one of the party's MEPs.

Chris Davies told Andrew Neil on BBC Two's Daily Politics that despite the "huge hurt on all sides", he did not back the Lib Dem peer's legal action, saying it "would solve nothing".
