Postal vote 'fraud': Conservative MP Andrew Stephenson

A Conservative MP is calling for postal voting to be scaled back as it had led to a "widespread perception of fraud", following a Radio 4 File on Four investigation.

Andrew Stephenson said some people had stopped voting, as they "no longer had confidence in the system".

He spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics, along with Tom Hawthorn from the Electoral Commission who explained efforts had been made to clamp down on the problem.

The journalist Iain Dale and he wanted to see online voting and polling at the weekend.
