European Parliament: MEPs try to form new groupings

The European elections last month saw big gains for protest parties and fringe groups on both the political left and right, with the outcome affected in some countries by ongoing economic problems.

That means the European Parliament in Brussels will look and feel very different as many new, younger faces try and influence how Europe is governed.

Jo Coburn reports in a Politics Europe film on how the maths will work out as MEPs bid to form cross-country alliances in the new-look Parliament.
