Rayner on Chester by-election: Rishi Sunak failed in first test as leader
Labour's deputy leader has said the Chester by-election showed people were "really concerned" with the cost of living.
Angela Rayner said it was a "historic result" and showed people wanted a Labour government.
Labour held the seat in a by-election on Thursday.
