Starmer: Not helpful for me to wade into pay talks
Labour will have failed if it did not "break the suffocating hold" of low wages in the economy, the leader has said.
Addressing the Unite union, Sir Keir Starmer said his party's new deal would address security, social justice, growth and higher living standards for all.
Addressing the government agreeing to accept the recommendations of the pay review bodies, he said it would not be helpful for him to "wade into that".
