Education secretary says teacher pay deal is 'fair'

Education Secretary Gillian Keegan described the government's 6.5% pay rise for teachers as "fair an reasonable" offer, as it takes into account the inflation forecast.

Ms Keegan added that the government is focused on halving inflation by the end of the year.
