A 21-gun royal salute was fired at Edinburgh Castle at noon on Saturday by the 105th Regiment Royal Artillery to mark the anniversary of the Queen's coronation.
In Perth, more than 1,000 people took part in one of the world's biggest ever kilted-runs. The Kilt Run, along an 8km route beside the Tay, failed to beat the previous record, set by the Canadian town of Perth, Ontario.
