Alistair Carmichael challenge to be broadcast live

The legal challenge over the election of Liberal Democrat Alistair Carmichael as MP for Orkney and Shetland will be streamed live.
The case has been raised by four of his constituents in Orkney and Shetland.
They argue he misled the electorate over a memo claiming SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon would rather have seen David Cameron become prime minister.
The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service has reached an agreement with STV, external over the 7 September case.
It will be the first time proceedings in the Election Court will be broadcast live - available on TV and online - allowing constituents to view proceedings.
STV has undertaken to share the live feed to all other media organisations wanting to broadcast the hearing.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service said: "The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service held constructive discussions with all parties involved, in reaching an agreement to broadcast the Election Court and we are pleased STV has agreed to facilitate this.
"Guidelines have been put in place to allow proceedings to be streamed live in this exceptional case, which will enable constituents in Orkney and Shetland and across the whole of the UK to view the trial."
Mr Carmichael had initially denied leaking the confidential memo to the Daily Telegraph, external.
He said that the first he had heard of it was when he received a phone call from a journalist.
The MP later admitted full responsibility for sanctioning its release, and accepted that the "details of the account are not correct".
The Election Court trial is due to commence at 10:30.
