Scottish election: Shetland Islands election hustings

Ferries, delays in farm payments, rural school closures and a second independence referendum were up for discussion during a BBC Radio Scotland hustings in Lerwick on Wednesday.

The candidates vying to become the MSP for the Shetland Islands went head-to-head in Shetland Museum and Archives, Lerwick.

BBC Scotland's John Johnston hosted panellists Tavish Scott of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, Scottish Labour's Robina Barton, the SNP's Danus Skene and Cameron Smith of the Scottish Conservatives.

The election will be held on 5 May when voters will decide who they want to represent them at the Scottish Parliament in their constituency and region.
