Two boys aged 15 and 17 have been arrested over the death of a man in a street disturbance in Glasgow.

Stuart McGeachie, 38, was attacked on Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen, on 26 October. He died after making his way to a nearby flat.

A 22-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in November.

Separately, a 39-year-old man was charged in October with carrying an offensive weapon in a public place in connection to the incident.

Alexander McGeachie, from Rutherglen, made no plea to the single charge when he appeared in court.

Police Scotland said the arrest of the two teenagers took place at properties in Rutherglen and Cambuslang. They were later released.

The force said its inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
