A contractor has been appointed to build a £3m unit to provide space for life science research at the new Inverness Campus.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has appointed Morrison Construction to do the work.

The building should be completed early next year.

Construction of the new Inverness College UHI building on the campus is already well under way and is due to be opened to students autumn 2015.
