This year's Hebridean Celtic Festival in Stornoway on Lewis was attended by about 14,000 people, its organisers have said.
The figure was close to last year's record-breaking attendance of 15,000, which was the best in the event's 19-year history.
This summer's attendance was almost 17% up on 2012, with 49% of those attending coming from outside the Western Isles.
Big Country, Levellers and Donnie Munro were among the festival's 40 acts.
Next year's 20th anniversary event will be held from 15 to 18 July.
