HSE makes improvement call for Shell's Brent Charlie

  • Published

The Health and Safety Executive has called for improvements on Shell's Brent Charlie oil platform in the North Sea.

It follows a power failure in a pump which caused fluid to enter one of the installation's legs.

Staff on the platform were called briefly to muster stations during last week's incident.

Brent Charlie is situated about 120 miles north east of Lerwick in Shetland.
