Drugs courier Sean McEllin caught in Aberdeen due to police dog Rebus

A drugs courier was caught carrying heroin worth almost £100,000 in Aberdeen after acting suspiciously when he saw a police sniffer dog, a court has heard.

Sean McEllin, 38, of Liverpool, was stopped by the handler of Rebus at Aberdeen rail station last September.

McEllin admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin with an estimated street value of £99,000.

Sentence at the High Court in Edinburgh was deferred for reports.
