Stonehaven flooding repairs 'will cost at least £2m'
- Published
Infrastructure repairs following the recent flooding in Stonehaven will cost at least £2m, Aberdeenshire Council has said.
Work is ongoing to establish the scale of the damage caused during last month's storms, and more than 100 separate issues have been identified.
Meanwhile, a date has been announced for a multi-agency meeting to discuss the response to the floods.
It will be held at Mackie Academy on Tuesday 29 January.
Dozens of homes were evacuated, and properties damaged, after the River Carron burst its banks in December.
Some residents are considering legal action against the council.
