MSPs meet at Clinterty travelling people site near Aberdeen
- Published
A site for travelling people near Aberdeen has been playing host to a special meeting of MSPs as part on their inquiry into where such communities live.
Holyrood's equal opportunities committee has already visited other sites around Scotland.
The committee was holding a formal meeting at the Clinterty site.
It has heard evidence from travelling community liaison officers, the NHS, voluntary organisations and the police.
Committee convener Mary Fee said: "It is fitting that we hold our committee meeting at Clinterty site as it gives us the opportunity to see where the community lives, in an area of Scotland that has already generated a lot of public interest on the subject."
