Proposals for Stonehaven's long-awaited new flood defences are going on show to the public.

Dozens of homes were evacuated, and properties damaged, after the River Carron burst its banks in December last year.

An exhibition at the town's leisure centre outlines the options being explored.

These include 'floating walls' - defences which rise up with water levels but are otherwise out of sight.
