Man in court charged with rape of woman in Aberdeen

A woman was allegedly attacked in Bon Accord Terrace Gardens on Sunday morning
A man has appeared in court charged with raping a woman in Aberdeen.
Jeffery Oviasogie was also accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice during a brief appearance at the city's sheriff court.
It followed an alleged attack on a 29-year-old woman in Bon Accord Terrace Gardens at about 03:30 on Sunday.
The 20-year-old from Aberdeen made no plea and was remanded in custody ahead of a further appearance within eight days.
