Brunta Hill wind farm appeal lodged

  • Published

Developers have lodged an appeal over a proposed wind farm on Brunta Hill near Westruther in Berwickshire after it was blocked by Scottish Borders Council.

The authority decided the scheme would have a "significant and unacceptable" impact on the area.

However, PNE Wind UK said it believed the council had not applied "enough weight to the environmental and socio-economic benefits" of the plan.

It has now appealed to the Scottish government over the decision.
