Arrest made over fatal crash in the Borders

Stuart Finnie died in the crash on the Melrose bypass last year
A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash in the Borders last year.
Stuart Finnie, 30, from Gavinton in Berwickshire, died at the scene of the collision on the A6091 Melrose bypass.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 58-year-old woman had now been charged in connection with the two-vehicle crash which happened on 1 February 2022.
In a short statement it added that a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
