Woman's body found in search for missing hillwalker

Alison Fox went walking in the Ochil Hills on Thursday

The body of a woman has been found in the search for a missing hillwalker.

A search, involving police and mountain rescue teams, has been taking place to find Alison Fox, from Alloa, who went walking in the Ochil Hills behind Menstrie on Thursday.

The body was found near Dunyat Farm at about 14:15. No formal identification has taken place, however, Ms Fox's family have been informed.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
