A lonely phone box in the village of Llandrillo, Denbighshire, amid some of the heavy snow that blanketed north Wales. A number of people sent in images of the Arctic blast.

The B4501 Cerrigydrudion to Bylchau road outside Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre, Conwy. Charlotte and Nick Kite said it was ploughed shortly after but the snow keeps drifting back over it again.

Richard Hemingway, of Tre Taliesin, Ceredigion, took this photo at Nant Yr Arian reserve near Aberystwyth. He said: "The wind was howling and it was -3C but you would never know from this picture."
